Description:
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has indicated that 2010 would be a better year for the global airline industry, with net losses pegged at $5.6 billion, as against an estimated $11 billion in 2009. It has also said that passenger traffic is likely to grow 4.5% in 2010, ringing in some good news for airlines badly hit by the global economic slowdown.
