By now, we know why the sky is blue...Rayleigh Scattering of light. We also know that this scattering is not the reason why the sea is blue...Raman Effect. Optics and light have always prodded the great minds to engage in discoveries of bid scientific magnitude.

Right from a optical prism that is used to tell a child that the white light consists of 7 colors, the big telescopes makes stargazing easier. It is this "optics" branch of Physics that helps explain the reaching of sun-rays on the surface of earth. It is this "optics" branch of Physics that tells us how we perceive color and form through our cornea and retina. It is important and has become indispensable in modern life.

The market for these equipments spans from toys, educational purposes, medical equipments, military, nautical equipments, eye-wear, scientific research, science centers, planetariums, and many more.

What is required to notice a phenomenon in optics: a keen eye and perhaps something "out of blue" that could come from the sky or from the sea. How much are you excited?
