* Generally people wants to get something out of everything. So to become a pet lover also, they should think that as a investment, not as a expense.
Business idea:
* 1 day free workshop on "Stress management by having a pet"
Studies clearly indicate that people with pets enjoy greater longevity following heart attacks, lower cholesterol and having pets can benefit those who suffer seizure as many pets have been found to be capable of warning or predicting such occurrences. Research findings state that watching fish in an aquarium offers therapeutic effects, most noticeably, a beneficial decrease in blood press, muscle tension and pulse rate.
* People should clearly see the benefit of having a pet by attentding the workshop. And this way, a branding needs to be done clearly.
* And tie up with hospitals to sell the pets for people suffering in stress [almost everybody ;-)]
* And we dont want them to suffer with some minor problems of having a pet.
All these minor problems will be taken care by the idea "easyPetServices" already suggested.

It is always nice when we go to an open air restaurant and find animals like these just loitering around on the grass. It can be an interesting idea to Breed Ducks, Swans, Rabbits which can be rented for special occasions like Weddings and functions that happen in Open Air garden Environment.
Having a presence of such harmless animals can give the party a natural feel and also can keep the children engaged.

This is a new brand of shirts that is designed based on duck's unique qualities.

1.water doesnot adhere to these shirts,just like how water doesnot stick on to the ducks.

Small Duck race track can be organised in shopping malls where the ducks with logos of brands/Stores embossed on them will go for race and people can place bet on different brand ducks and winning bets will be given discount passes for same day shopping of that brand. a park with lake built by govt and private partnership or taken on lease from govt for eco-tourism.
the lake provided with swan/ducks and fishes, people can be given opportunity to feed the ducks/swan and fishing sport.
the place can be made attractive by creating a lot of business activities like - setting up ice cream parlours/fast food parlours, then providing boating events in lake like motor boats, bike boats, peddling boats etc.
then resturants onboard boat with a boat cruise etc.
then setting up of children park, skating park for children adjacent to the lake will be more attractive.

This is perfect picture of what a business should do : CTRL C- CTRL V
This is simple strategy adopted by many verticals including Retail, Telecom & Software.
Same Strategy can be adopted by many Businesses as well.
This percolates from the fact that Every product and Services is made in such a manner that it can be used in repeated manner but having it;s own profound advantages and Value Proposition.
For Ex: Software Products are being made to suit a particular vertical for ex. lets say to minimize the communication cost of Logistics firm, by sending out critical information @ it;s deliverables, same software can be used by Manufacturing firm, who on daily basis would be needed such kind of information broadcasting to it;s external Employees (Customers) and internal employees (Employees who work within organization), adding the same value adds which it goes to the logistics companies.
Same formula as Ctrl C - Ctrl V can be adopted by Verticals like Retail (Repeating the same Scheme which is successful in one city to another city), Telecom (Adopting same usage plan billing which seems most lucrative for one Enterprise to another), etc.
Today's world is making most out of it operating profits from the same formula.

This is simple strategy adopted by many verticals including Retail, Telecom & Software.
Same Strategy can be adopted by many Businesses as well.
This percolates from the fact that Every product and Services is made in such a manner that it can be used in repeated manner but having it;s own profound advantages and Value Proposition.
For Ex: Software Products are being made to suit a particular vertical for ex. lets say to minimize the communication cost of Logistics firm, by sending out critical information @ it;s deliverables, same software can be used by Manufacturing firm, who on daily basis would be needed such kind of information broadcasting to it;s external Employees (Customers) and internal employees (Employees who work within organization), adding the same value adds which it goes to the logistics companies.
Same formula as Ctrl C - Ctrl V can be adopted by Verticals like Retail (Repeating the same Scheme which is successful in one city to another city), Telecom (Adopting same usage plan billing which seems most lucrative for one Enterprise to another), etc.
Today's world is making most out of it operating profits from the same formula.

I propose to build a co-operatively owned chain of biological gardens which will have bird saffari cum community holiday rest house cum care centre for birds which are rare and on verge of extinction. I want to develop it as a beautiful and enriching tourist experience with rich variety of flora and fauna . help from goverment's tourism schemes will also be taken .People will be motivated for adopting one or two birds or flocks of birds and pay annually their cost of care and breeding .
those people who adopt birds will be given a profit ownership of income genrated from these tourist gardens and breeding farms . Major sources of income for the co-perative are tourist visits , community holiday rest houses , breeding of birds for various research purposes . profit of the co-operative will be distributed between its owners and bird adopters .

This is a promotion for Animal actors trained at the New Animal training center for Movies and short films(That is the business idea by the way, ladies and gentlemen). Beauty of this shot is the ducks were trained so well that they are actually watching a lawn tennis tournament in a jungle resort .
So the plan is to form a business whose core activity is to rent out animals well trained for movies/short films etc.
Advantage: Ever growing media/cinema industry
Catch can be that animal rights activists protesting which can be sorted by giving transparency in the way the business functions.
Eg: Take animal rights personnels on regular tours in the business premises to communicate how well the animals are treated and educate them on the facilities provided.
BONUS: You might just win appreciation from Government/Animal rights if you move a step ahead and adopt lost animals and train them.

These two ducks can be potrayed as a print ad for Duck farming. Duck eggs are consumed by humans for a long time now. We are encouraging people to take up duck farming as an employment option. Duck eggs fetch good price as they also have medicinal values and are used by many pharma companies.
Above all you can prepare a nice garden to attract visitors who come with families and spend time with ducks. YOu can set up a food joint in the garden. Additional revenues.

Choose your own Geese organic farm.
Geese are raised on a free range on organic certified farming practices and feed. Customers get to choose their own goose, it can be processed hygienically in the farm and the customer goes home with fresh meat. The organic waste can be used to enrich the land to grow fresh vegetables/fruits/flowers. The entire operation will be built around sustainable and renewable energy practices.
Additional lines of revenues come from:
A petting farm where the kids get to pet the geese.
Picnic sight with lunch counter that makes a nice family outing.
packaged goodies like foei gras(goose liver delicacy) which is nascent to the Indian market and can be exported. Goose down can be sold to high end jacket and bedding manufacturers.
All this can be achieved with a minimal carbon footprint. Such farms should be set up near SEZs to act as a carbon sink and as a source for fresh farm produce which is healthy and wholesome. This will also prevent alienation of farmers whose lands come into the purview of SEZs and give them a chance to participate in meaningful economic activity.

The idea is based on success of Farmville on Facebook. There may be quite a few people who like to slow down, live in a farm away from the city, but may not want to be ready to take it up as a permanent lifestyle.
So I'd set up a company with rural farms in a lot of countrysides across India, sell slots of min. 2 weeks to max. 3 months to willing individuals/families to stay in the farms, and not just stay but experience it all - till fields, breed/care for ducks and hens, milk cows and goats. The farm staff will assist. Revenue comes from farm output + lease money.

Oflate India is abuzz with Wildlife sanctuary & adoption centre news. This picture is to promote animal adoption / Pet for a week (or a certain timeline)
How many kids we know keep asking their parents for a pet dog,cat,rabbit,duck,parrot,bird,fish,bear, e.t.c., This pet "library" (more like) helps parents let kids adopt the pets for a while (say a week) & then after that, They can continue keeping the pet or just give it back to the Pet Library.
This is really a cool concept because,either way its a win-win situation.
With a membership fee,the Pet library gets funded.
Also the pets get a home,get fed,cared for.
This'd really work out.Just imagine how many of those animals could get a home,shelter.
Remember Charity always begins at home! =)

These two ducks can be mentioned as " amazing lovable couples and will show thier love and affection wherever they go".Just like this a banner can kept and advertised those who love birds and ofcourse other tourist too will really get an interest to have a look at them.
Ofcourse the business is tickets for entry and seperate cost for taking photographs.
