At the helm of KSKEVL are two entrepreneurs, K A Sastry and S Kishore, both of whom serve as the company’s Executive Directors. KSKEVL has been voted as the 103rd in the top 500 companies based on market capitalisation in India by Capital Market and 78th among India’s most valuable private sector companies by Business Today.
Sastry, a chartered accountant, leads operations and financial accounting, taxation and human resources functions of KSK Energy Ventures. Prior to incorporating KSK, he had more than a decade of extensive experience in the domains of consulting, audit, company law and foreign investment regulations.
Kishore, also a chartered accountant, leads the business development and capital formation initiatives of KSK. Prior to this, he was a financial advisor and consultant for multiple energy companies/ utilities/ market entrants since early nineties.
Sastry and Kishore have been instrumental in the rapid growth of KSK over the past decade. Currently, the company has four power plants (aggregating 279 MW) that are fully operational, three power plants (aggregating 4183 MW) that are under construction and three power plants (aggregating 5400 MW) that are under planning stage. KSK is also planning to set up three hydel power plants (aggregating 1045 MW).
To stay ahead, the company provides customers with stable power supply at affordable prices. As part of its strategy to address global environmental concerns on carbon emissions and having a balanced portfolio including renewable sources, the group is in discussion with a leading manufacturer of solar panel manufacturing equipment for a potential solar facility in India.
