DARE featured Indusgeeks' Founder and CEO Siddharth Banerjee in its February 2008 issue. Back then, his company was a startup. We thought it would be interesting to see where it stands now. Here’s what we found.

THEN: On a rainy day in Mumbai, 2006, Siddharth Banerjee sat reading a New York Times article. The article on a new kind of online gaming intrigued him and eight months later, he launched Indusgeeks—the  dreamland of the virtual world.

NOW: Siddharth owns a development centre in Mumbai and a marketing office in San Francisco. He has resellers in Dubai, London, San Francisco and Sydney. With 20 people and a turnover of around Rs1.5 crore, Siddharth is poised to scale up further.

ABOUT
SIDDHARTH: A college dropout, Siddharth has a half-done C.A. course on his resume. He believes the Geek (himself) shall inherit the virtual world.

SMARTEST
MOVE: Indusgeeks moved from being a pure services company creating educational and training content on a third party platform to a platform company with its own cloud based, multi device, social, immersive, interactive learning platform called Metamersive.
