Foundation and Exam Preparation Workshops in Business Analysis

QAI, which administers Software Certifications' examinations has recently launched Business Analysis Foundation Workshop, a three day course and Business Analysis Certification Exam Prep Workout of one day. After having certified in excess of 40,000 professionals worldwide in 43 countries, QAI looks forward to support the Business Analysis community with these workshops aimed at competency building and business critical skill development, along with its existing Business Analysis certification offerings.

Each year, organizations across the globe face astronomical project failure rates, often wasting millions of dollars per failed project. A lot of them have roots in undefined role and lack of required competencies of the business analysts. The BLS report covering 2006-2016 says Business Analysis will be the fastest growing profession in the coming years, also among the “Top 10 Skills in Demand in 2010” (Source: Global Knowledge/ Techrepublic 2010 Salary survey). According to the Business Analysis Benchmark Report, IAG Consulting, companies with poor business analysis capability will have 3-times as many project failures as successes.

QAI has conducted the first batch of both these workshops in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai, India. The Business Analysis Foundation Workshop is aimed at building competencies and essential skills required by a Business Analyst. The skills developed are aligned to QAI's International Certifications in Business Analysis and prepare an individual for the certification examination. On the other hand, the Business Analysis Certification Exam Prep Workout provides a quick overview on the Business Analysis (BA) Common Body of Knowledge (CBoK) and provides exposure to model questions and mock exercises to gear up participants for the certification examination. The completion of this workshop along with the necessary practical experience and related resource familiarity will help prepare the participants for the Certified Associate Business Analyst (CABA)/Certified Software Business Analyst (CSBA) examination.

Certifications provided by QAI have increasingly been adopted by large organizations to give their employees global recognition. Infosys and TCS both have over 4000 professionals each certified on various domains, which is testimony to the increasing trend of adoption at the organization level.
