TV-Desi to offer top-rated live TV channels from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to viewers in North America

TV-Desi, a subsidiary of NeuLion and JumpTV, announced the launch of a new IPTV service delivering live South Asian television content to viewers in the United States and Canada.

TV-Desi is said to be the first IPTV service dedicated to the Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities in North America delivering a television viewing experience. The subscription-based service provides live content in superior video quality using a broadband Internet connection and set top box technology.

TV-Desi features a line-up of over 40 popular channels including: Sony Entertainment Television Asia, Indus TV, Aaj, NDTV, ATN, Ekushey, Diganta, RTV, Hum TV, Amrita TV, IBN-Lokmat, TV9 News as well as North American Desi channels ITV, ASC and many others.

Live TV Package: starting at $29.99 USD per month for a monthly subscription
A la carte channels: starting at $3.99 USD available in addition to initial purchase of the Live TV Package

In the coming months, TV-Desi plans to add movies and video-on-demand content as well as more channels in regional languages.
