Samsung India associated with MTNL demonstrated the video streaming application on its 3G network using the Samsung F480 Mobile phone. MTNL introduced 3G Mobile services for the first time in India on December 11. The introduction of 3G services will provide a wider range of more advanced services through 3G networks like broadband wireless data transfers, video calls and faster online video streaming.
Samsung India's flagship models introduced this year- the OMNIA (i900), INNOV8 (i8510) and Touchwiz (F480) - are all 3G enabled. While the wide 3.2-inch WQVGA LCD screen of the OMNIA is designed for perfect viewing of videos and slide shows in high-resolution, the Samsung Innov8 and Samsung Touch Wiz come with a crystal clear 2.8" 16M color LCD, designed to provide users with the best possible photography, video and gaming experience on-the-go.
With Samsung 3G Phones like the Touch Wiz or the OMNIA , users can enjoy super-fast Internet access through the 7.2 Mbps High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) browser and share images or video taken with the phone. With 7.2 Mpbs HSDPA, users can also download songs at a faster speed compared to average 3G networks. The high speed internet access (HSDPA) and USB 2.0 connectivity of these handsets enables users to transfer and download data faster. Whether they are music or video files, customers can enjoy all the benefits of being online on-the-go.
Samsung has a range of nine 3G handsets in its lineup, priced in the range between Rs. 8479/- to Rs 45,999/- Source: Integral PR Service
