The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) announced the upcoming visit of an 80 member delegation to India for the 16thTechnology Summit & Technology Platform which will take place in Hotel Lalit, New Delhi on the 7th and 8th of December. This event has been organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India. Germany is the Partner Country at this Event.
The visit of the German delegation is under the aegis of the very successful 2 year BMBF campaign: INDIA AND GERMANY - STRATEGIC PARTNERS FOR INNOVATION, which concludes in December this year. The purpose of the delegation's visit at the summit is to showcase its state-of-the art technologies and capabilities in the field of Advanced Manufacturing, Energy and Environment and Life Sciences. The event is slated to attract Industry experts, customers, consultants and corporates from various sectors.
The German delegation will cover areas related to sustainable development focusing on solar energy and water technologies as well as Lean and Green concepts by identifying opportunities for collaboration in manufacturing sector.
Participants amongst the German delegation include prominent investment agencies and companies such as Fraunhofer Research Center for Silicon-photovoltaic CSP, BalticNet-PlasmaTec, Bosch Solar Energy AG, several departments from the University of technology, Braunschweig, Siemens Ltd, Institute for Sanitary Engineering, Water Quality and Solid Waste Management, University of Stuttgart
