Bank of Rajasthan has announced revision in Non-Resident (External) Rupee Deposits interest rates (NRE) and Foreign Currency Non-Resident Deposits (Banks) (FCNR (B)) interest rates with effect from July 01, 2009.
NRE Deposits
The interest rates on Non-Resident (External) Rupee deposits have been increased to 3.36% (3.35%) per annum for 1 year to less than 2 years, 3.28% (3.13%) p.a. for 2 years to less than 3 years and 3.87 % (3.74%) p.a. for 3 years and above.
FCNR (B)
The interest rates on FCNR (B) deposits in U.S. Dollar have been increased to 2.61% (2.60%) p.a. for maturity of 1 year to less than 2 years, 2.53% (2.38%) p.a. for 2 years to less than 3 years, 3.12% ( 2.99%) p.a. for 3 years and above but less than 4 years, 3.57% (3.52%) p.a. for 4 years and above but less than 5 years and 3.93% ( 3.92% ) p.a. for 5 years only.
The interest rates on FCNR (B) deposits in Great Britain Pounds have been revised to 2.70% ( 2.76 % ) p.a. for 1 year to less than 2 years, 3.32% ( 2.93%) p.a. for two years and above to less than 3 years, 4.02% ( 3.55%) p.a. for three years and above but less than 4 years, 4.46% ( 4.00%) p.a. for 4 years and above but less than 5 years and 4.72% (4.30%) p.a. for 5 years only.
The interest rates on FCNR (B) deposits in Euro have also been revised to 2.50% (2.64%) p.a. for 1 year to less than 2 years, 2.84% (2.76%) p.a. for 2 years and above but less than 3 years, 3.30% (3.19%) p.a. for 3 years and above but less than 4 years, 3.64%(3.56 %) p.a. for 4 years and above but less than 5 years and 3.91% (3.87%) p.a. for 5 years only.
Further, interest rates on FCNR (B) deposits in Japan Yen, Australian Dollars and Canadian Dollars have also been revised for various maturities up to maximum period of 5 years.
