TRS Forms and Services Pvt Ltd, an ITeS provider in the domain of educational technology in India announced an investment of Rs. 10 crores in 360 Digital Media in order to develop and offer products in e-learning market and expects Rs. 20 crores turnover from the venture.It is also eyeing expansion of its centers to tier II cities Ahmedabad and Jaipur in this quarter.
TRS Forms and Services, a (ITES) provider in the domain of educational technology in India announced an investment of Rs 10 crores in 360 Digital Media in order to develop and offer products in e-learning market. The investment will mark TRS's foray into the IP technology vertical enabling them to develop high tech digitized new range of improved and advanced solutions applicable to Government departments, Educational institutions, Market research firms, Healthcare, Banking, Insurance Sector and Manufacturing industries. TRS has been dedicated to a cross-platform vision for last few years now and this venture a response to the customer demands for open standard-based cloud computed solutions. TRS is also eyeing expansion of its centers to tier II cities Ahmedabad and Jaipur in this quarter.
Speaking on the newer products on the threshold, Subramanian, MD, TRS Forms & Services, said, "We have already introduced the 2D barcode system as the ultimate and anti-scam security feature for certificates, mark statements and solution like "Fire Eye" an e-numbering process for Universities. Now we are about to tap the digital media platform this quarter. We have also recently launched two of our highly advanced solutions - E-Assess and E-Valuator for the first time in India that addresses vital issues in on-line examinations and evaluation of subjective exams. These attend to the difficulties extensively prevalent in the assessment process in the education sector". He added, "The size of e-learning market in India is expected to grow from the current $35 million or Rs.150 crore to $300 million or Rs.1, 250 crore by 2012, and we are expecting a turnover of Rs. 20 crore out of this investment. The tremendous growth of the economy in the recent past has also helped in the growth of online education in India. Analyzing the market, TRS is ready with the technology innovation to cater the e - learning market both for the present and future.
Talking on the partnership, Ramkumar Ramamurthy, CEO, 360 Digital Media said, "This partnership will definitely help us in developing more innovation and customized technology to cater the educational sector. We are also in the move to work out more IP technology solutions in the market by first quarter and will be first time in India that such products will be offered in a hosted platform. We would be building a zone of home based technology and TRS Forms' network and experience in the market would enable us to cater to a larger audience."
