Session 5: Happiness Habits- Breakthrough ideas for Leaders

alt

Every individual is a caretaker of things around, so don’t lose heart when you lose anything or any opportunity; you have just returned it back to the nature. Respect your past and future, but live in today.

The inspiring session by Nithya Shanti, founder, Inspired Happiness, on ‘Happiness Habits- Breakthrough ideas for Leaders’ was the fifth session of the day. He addressed house-full of audience with the distribution of ‘gratitude rock’ and asked everyone to realize the importance of gratitude and each moment.  Initially the audience, which majorly comprised of entrepreneurs, was not responsive, but with Shanti’s swift story telling about his life and intriguing anecdotes, they got attuned to the music of happiness.

As this mega entrepreneurship event through its meticulously planned sessions addresses the challenges of entrepreneurs and their start-ups of various sizes, this session has made an attempt to keep their spirits high. Shanti with his reference to Andrew Carnegie and Swami Vivekanand’s teachings on identifying your unique quality conveyed that it is important to question one’s fears but not get bogged down by them and amidst that respect your competency and work single-mindedly on it for the good.

Worrying is a quality which unintentionally becomes a trait of every human being and more in entrepreneurs who takes up unknown path, but it’s also in their reach  and ability to beat it. So, keep working on knowing yourself and working on your competency to be more satisfied each day and changing the way each entrepreneurs look at their present and future.

Through ‘What The Thinkers Think The Provers Prove’ (WTTTTPP), he took the participation level of audience to a state where they need to keep a check on their attitude to look at things around them. He did by telling a story that two shoe company salesmen were sent to Africa for promotion. Out of the two, one said it is impossible to explore any opportunity as people do not wear shoes in Africa, whereas the other said, there is tremendous potential in the region as they can create huge demand and have first mover advantage.

The ‘joyshop’ – term Shanti uses for his session to interact with people for spiritual awakening, ended with a crux that each problem presents a possibility, each possibility leads to creation of pure joy; each joy leads to the present moment, which finally presents the true nature of each individual. So one should keenly look forward to stress and problems as it is an initiation to inquire yourself. The more you about yourself, more happy you become.
