There is something about January of a new year that makes it special. No doubt, it is the time of the year when we look forward to beginning of another exciting year.
Most of us also use this period to look back; get off the tread-mill called competitive corporate life; retrospect and learn.

So we at Dare said let's bring some fun to the fore. The week starting January 10, we are celebrating the Entrepreneur Week. It's dedicated to you all. Jan 10 through Jan 14, we have lined up a daily live webinar between 4 pm – 4.45 pm. We have invited some interesting personalities to share their personal experience with us. Please look at the speakers' list here.
Live webinars are an interesting phenomena. It allows you to be in your cosy comfortable seat and join hundreds of other like minded entrepreneurs to listen to people who share their life's experiences. You too can participate by asking questions. All of this happens at 4 pm, a time when you have wrapped up most of the work for the day and are a lot more relaxed. And moreover, there's no traveling involved. I am excited to be part of this as is the entire Dare team.
Most of us owe our rise to a handful of people, both strangers and friends, who helped us variously at different times. Then there are those who come to our aid when we are down. We thought it's a good idea to not only remember our angels but also show our appreciation to those entrepreneurs who inspired us. Like, I was inspired by a thorough gentleman by name Krishna (don't recall his full name) who used to be in The Times of India and later with Hindustan Times. His methodical approach and his passion towards getting things done used to be a constant inspiration to me. I secretly hoped that I will be able to become someone like him one day. So, I can go to Dare Entrepreneur Week gratitude section and write about Krishna. He may not read it but it is a chance for me to live those moments again. So go to this link to write about your most cherished person.
When we were young, bold and dashing we would be tempered by words of wisdom from people who had tread the path of making things happen earlier. We called them our mentors. We would run to them for help at the slightest pretext. Their shoulders would offer us the comfort to lift burdens we by ourselves couldn't have. It is now time to lend our shoulders to people who need them. If you agree with me, please go to this link to register yourself as a mentor. I am registering for a start.
We hope Entrepreneur Week will become a huge success in helping us learn, show gratitude and lend our expertise to others. Wishing you all a very Happy Entrepreneur Week.
